Well Done

Neville

Well Done

I don’t want to be a cliché

or dance

with shadow children on

distant balconies ..

That’s not what balconies

are for now, is it ..

I want to sit and watch you

   read your kindle ..

While the sun goes down

and we both blister ..

Before that is, we each turn,

golden brown ..

Holidays. Cooking nicely on the balcony. Plenty of heat here, sea view, sunset and drinks. Perfect harmony I reckon. A well done poem Neville 🙂

it seems you made your bed, so now you just have to lie in it .. the pair of you if there is a pair of you remind me a little bit of that old TV series Starkers & Hutch 🐀🐁🐭😎

Yes, boo hoo, I've made my nest, as a G/Pig, now got to lie in it. I will hibernate from KP.
If I see her starkers I will never recover but will be scarred mentally for life. lol.
