fur, clothing, and you

aceofwoes

like a piece of fur,

caressing my touch,

like a clothing fabric,

texture as soft as a hand

like these fleeting moments,

i think of the love we shared.

maybe you were meant to be fleeting

to be a soft graze to impact me forever

of course, the graze was never a waste

the moment was never a waste

the fabric or fur?

never a waste.

the contact was alluring, ever so,

but the fur grew to be part of a body.

the fabric grew to be a ballroom dress,

and you grew into someone i never knew.

with this, i wish you growth

whether in love, wealth, whatnot

i just hope you keep with you the lessons learned

and along the way, everything earned

This is beautiful. An interaction of sorts that plays such an integral part of a person’s life. Happy New Year.

Incredibly soft in tone with matching imagery never too overpowering-
