- Comment from author about the poem: this is a poem i wrote for my moms birthday... my mom has been through a lot and never once has she ever let that affect her duties as a mom. she goes above and beyond and she never feels like we owe her something in return.. i wanna be able to give the world to her but i can so this poem she will receive.....and i just want to say " enjoy the time left with your parents because you can lose them in a heart beat"
