Tune: St Fulbert
('Ye choirs of new Jerusalem')
Psalm 43
*******
Judge me, O God, and my cause plead
Against ungodly, heed
My prayers, come save me from them all
The unjust, deceitful
For you are the God of my strength
Why does it seem at length
As if you have cast me off? for
I go mourning, state poor
O send out your truth and your light
Let them lead me, shine bright
Leasd me to your house, holy hill
So I will praise you still
For you will be my exceeding
Joy, O God, I shall bring
You worship, and on harp shall play
You are my God, I say
Why you cast down within, my soul?
The Lord shall make you whole
Though my soul's refrain disquiet be
God is my health, help, see

- Comment from author about the poem: And now a hymn-poem in 8.6.8.6. to an Easter hymn tune (heehee). I'm sure it's Easter next week - eh?! This follows on from a couple of earlier poems on Psalm 42.

Oh so many woes and do you need any more sylables - they're in short supply at the moment.
Thanks M. Oh dear, why are the syllables in short supply?!
and guess what ..
I can't guess it ...... lol.
We all look for help in times of trouble and where better to look than toward what you believe has the power to help. Good write Orchi
Thanks SB.
