Looking around the cemetery
I came to a well kept stone,
A headstone of granite.
Grey, black and white flecks,
Magnificently clean,
And there in black letters
The inscription was carved.
“Here lies Harold Wallbank,
Farmer of this parish.
A MAN OF STRONG RESOLVE!”
The thought just stays with me,
That I bet he was a man,
That you would never argue with!

Good write Gold.
I will have that too - summat like 'Resolved to an old trout'. I surely deserve it, being married to KP! lol.
Thank you Orchi.
Now, didn't we meet Harold one day, from the millions of years ago of our past?!
It can be interesting to wander around a cemetery looking at gravestones. I tend to try to learn something of those who've passed on. Like what would they like to say if they knew someone was listening. Well penned Andy.
Thank you AP, yes I too find it interesting to look at gravestones.

A well kept headstone seems to speak of the esteem in which Harold Wallbank was held. A man who probabley needed strong resolve to work the land. Such a beautiful thought dear Andy, as well as a beautiful video.
Most kind Bella, thank you.
