Human Jesus

mtrotter1

The color of your teeth

Are eternal;

White as snow as they are

And truth inacts

With the beauty of praise

For a rose is a rose; the grandest rose

We cannot hide the feelings of eternity--

The grandest rose travels north

And pretty is the north's star

My human Jesus, the spirit in the flesh

Behold the people that stare

And all in all, these words are true

For there is Jesus in everyone

So keep smiling

Even if you don't believe--

What wicked grandiose we achieve.

  • Comment from author about the poem: Believe in a better day. Believe in tomorrow. Believe in a brighter future. Eventually we will shine in our truth (for poets are the best). It excites me to write every day. It helps me heal and grow. I am hoping to improve my journey in this life, and I am hoping to be a better person, and to be kinder to myself. Yes life is hard, but change is always good. This year, I am hoping to get out of Reno, NV. I want to live my life somewhere else. I'm hoping. Think about what you want, and go after it. Find a way to achieve it. For I hope 2024 will be a good year for you all. Stay strong and try to stay positive...even though in life we have many storms, trials, tribulations, etc. There is a silver lining somewhere. Peace, love, and light. And thanks.

    This is amazing. I love this message with so much passion that I can’t put it into words. I just want to say that your poem and writer’s note speak directly to the world we’re living in. This world needs more love, more hope, a Savior. “For a rose is a rose; the grandest rose” is a phenomenal line. Stay safe and blessed.
