I walk along winter’s pathway
And in its embrace the sun softly gleams,
Painting frost-kissed landscapes,
Painting them in golden beams.
Whispers of chill dance in the crisp air
Adorning Natures sparkling beauty,
The beauty that Nature brings,
That Nature brings to our lives.

Magnificent poem for a winter morning Andy. 👍
Thank you AP, much appreciated.

A fine write Gold.
My poem goes something like:
'I rush along this time of year
Wrapped up in coat and hat and gloves
I hardly stop to see anything
Brrr! Let me get indoors.'
But it's been mild-ish for ages. really.
I much prefer the cold to the hot so I am happy in this weather, not the rain though.

Short but rich piece there, Andy.
However, the news, if I'm careful to choose the right source, tells me of more than what goes on in my own backyard. And what MY news tells me is that the British Isles is suffering some inclement weather right now. Not you? Down the road?
Yes it is very wet here Dave, the town I am in had the river overflow onto the road but I missed all this as we were down on the Isle of Wight and we were walking along the beach in the sunshine.
