Tears And Joy

orchidee

Tune: Trentham

('Breathe on me, breath of God')

Psalm 126

********

When the Lord turned again

Our captivity, then

We were like them that dream, yet we

By Him released, so be

And then was our mouth filled

With laughter, we were healed

And our tongue broke forth into song

Gave Him thanks all day long

Fo even the heathen

Did see God's good hand then

They said, The Lord has done great things

For His people, each sings

And so was our reply

The Lord has helped, He nigh

Has done great things for us and we

Are glad, and do them see

Turn our captivity

O Lord, that we be free

As streams that in the south do flow

So freedom we shall know

They that sow in tears shall

Reap in joy, shall do well

Shall bear precious seed, rejoicing

Return with sheaves singing

Thanks GS. I was only attempting to sing it - I didn't know my singing would reduce you to tears. lol.

What can be more joyful, than praising in song? So good dear Orchi!

Thanks Bella. Ooohh, nothing better, as long it's not me singing it! (an 'in-joke' on here. lol).

A good pair of earplugs could fix that, then you can sing as loud and as joyfully as you want. lol back at 'ya dear friend.
