The Devils Hand

K.K

These thoughts are forever suffocating and at times overbearing
Constant flashbacks of your scent, the pain, down to the clothes you were wearing
Forever haunted by this reoccurring nightmare
Never escaping the evilness within your stare
I believe the devil himself visited me that night
Having me believe there was no god in sight
His grip burning this emptiness into my soul
Grasping onto my innocence til I’m no longer whole
But I will not allow this evilness to win
For you only uncovered my strength within
No more allowing this pain to control me
The past is the past and that’s where it belongs to be
