Creator and Creation

Tune: Richmond

('City of God, how broad and far')

Psalm 33 v.6-11

********

By the word of the Lord were made

The heavens, all displayed

All the host of them by Hi breath

Created as He saith

He gathers waters of the sea

Appoints their bounds, so be

His storehouses are oceans deep

He watch o'er His world keeps

Let all the earth fear the Lord, let

The peoples fear Him yet

Stand in awe of him, mighty, strong

He sustains day, night long

For He did speak and it was done

he made each thing, each one

He commanded and things stood fast

Established, they shall last

The Lord brings man's counsel to nought

Who their own ways have sought

But His counsel stands for ever

To generations, fails never
