Grace And Favour

orchidee

Tune: Stuttgart

('Earth has many a noble city')

**********

Psalm 84 v.11

The Lord God is a sun and shield

And all power He does wield

The Lord will give grace and glory

So we shall comforted be

Psalm 84 v.11

And no good thing will He withhold

There shall be blessings untold

To them that live upright, righteous

His favour will come to us

Psalm 85 v.1-2

Lord to your land you have favour

Shown, brought back your people sure

Who were in captivity, you

Have forgiven their sins true

Psalm 85 v.8

I will hear what the Lord will speak

Find our hearts, Lord, humble, meek

For you will unto your people

Speak peace, encouragement all

Psalm 85 v.8-9

But let them not return unto

Foolishness, but follow you

Surely your salvation is near

To those who fear you, revere

Psalm 85 v.9-10

So glory shall dwell in our land

We shall see of God's good hand

Mercy, truth, righteousness, and peace

May they be joined, never cease
