Reality becomes you.

Doggerel Dave

Notice of absence from Doggerel Dave
Not absent - still here!
Keep Calm and Carry On Poeming. 😂

You’re looking good when you hold forth like that;

You just confront lies with controlled anger.

What other response to a well smelled rat?

For nothing can beat some well-aimed candour.

    Good words Dave, I also find that apathy is a good weapon.

      Don't get it, Andy - please elaborate.....

        Some people expect a reaction when they try to annoy you, if you do not respond, they do not know what to do and that annoys them.

          I absolutely agree with your strategy given the circumstances you outline, unless we are reacting (or not!) to rationalisations by politicians, Andy.

          The four lines above (not clear enough?) were a tribute to Bella's piece 'What Is Real?':

          She there, in what I believe to be controlled anger, rationally pinned just what is wrong with the political system inflicted on us today.

            Indeed a truth spoken. I prefer directness to minced words but then I remember Mark Twain saying that no amount of logic and convince an idiot.

              Yeh - I have a feeling Mark Twain may be right - tragically.
