Tune: Lux Eoi
('Alleluia, Alleluia! hearts to heaven and voices raise')
Based on a prayer by St Patrick (c.389-461AD)
*************
Our God, you God of all mankind
God of all things, so we find
God of heaven, earth, rivers, seas
Making all as you do please
God of sun and moon and each star
Things that be near and be far
God of high mount, lowly valley
You the great Creator be
God over heaven, and in heaven
Life unto all you have given
God under heaven, for you dwell
In heaven, earth, sea, we tell
And live in all things that therein
Are, let fresh praises begin
He inspires, give life to all things
Of Him His creation sings
He over all things, He supports
All things, different kinds and sorts
He makes the light of sun to shine
He surrounds the moon, stars fine
He has made wells in the dry earth
Islands in seas brings to birth
Father, Holy Spirit, and Son
Three in One while ages run
