When it Gets That Bad it Must be Broken
Had it not happened
when it happened
and how, when
and where that it did ..
Then you would
not be aware of just
how bad it can get
in a matter of seconds ..
In fact, it can get so bad
it might just as well be broken ..

And teddy would say nothing is ever as bad as it seems my dear Nev. Excellent 🤗
I take your point Teddy but try telling that to Syria, Gazza & the Ukraine mid winter, or any time of year for that matter .. Neville 🕊️🤍
Oh yes and then all the others who have it even worst. Agreed in any case.
Life turns on a dime my friend. You've poured everything into this, and it grabs the reader by the shoulders, and gives a good shake. Bravely written dear Nev!
.. I'm beginning to warm to it myself Bella .. thanks for pointing me in the write direction .. Neville
Painful reminder of a wrong place wrong time situation I'd like to keep a distant memory (it's OK - already filed away again and the drawer locked)
Never the less I do admire the concision, Neville.
it's always a pleasure to be Dave .. hope you all get my drift 😎👍
that just means it must get fixed. 😉
go on, make an old fella smile why don'tcha .. I'm on it .. write now 😎👍
So much emotion in those words Neville.
Andy
No matter how long or hard I tried, I just couldn't squeeze any more in Andy .. cheers
Yep, me marriage to KP sure is broken. It was that bad from the start. lol. If it ain't broken, don't fix it, they say. So should we try to fix our marriage?
there aint enough Elastoplast, duck tape or superglue in the looneyverse to help you achieve that Mr. O ..
This poem hits home on so many levels, Neville.
and I apologise on so many of them Tom .. Neville 👍
With the quality of workmanship now days, the state of the world, complicated technology, high expectations, short duration of relationships, I'm surprised it ever worked. I assume everything is broken from the beginning and will need to be fixed or thrown out. Great write my friend the repetitive focus kept bringing me back again and again.
there aint nothing worse than being repeatedly broken .. and I am so grateful to you for the well reasoned and largely accurate perspective you have thrown over my little scribble & wrapped it in today .. many thanks my friend .. Neville
