Some like beer some like brandy
A thirsty man values water over gold
A fly prefers shit to peppermint candy
some favor tropical climates some favor cold
Many think my poems are trash
When Shakespeare as toilet paper they use,
why do we other's pleasures bash?
Can we other people's likes excuse?

Like the bold.
Thanks for the read it is most appreciated
It's always a pleasure.
When a man sees through eyes of trash, that's all he's going to see. See through eyes of treasure, that's what I see here soren. 😉👍
Thanks Accidental your comments are always treasured
LoL well personally I think they are fantastic and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm forever privileged to read them. Keep them coming your subtle satire well I just love it. 💜
Thank you so much for your encouraging words they mean a great deal and are most appreciated. Frankly, people are generally, although not always quite polite but you and I both know that under the cover of polite remarks sometimes disinterest and disdain remains. The point itself was, not so much about my poems but about how we all have different interests and often little respect for the interests of others. Thanks again so much for the support
Absolutely 100 % agreed.
It would be a very dull world if the only color was red, the only fruit kumquats and the only instrument we ever heard was a tuba. We need to blend beautiful colors, and make fruit salad, and hear an entire orchestra. Well written, and oh so true my friend!
Thank you so much Bella your comments are looked forward to and cherished
Fantastic.
Thanks Thomas appreciate the read
Because much of that is bull shit (the 'Many think my poems are trash'), I'll volunteer to be a metaphorical fly....😂
Come on - get on with it.........
Dave you make me laugh. So you think my shit don't stink. I write plenty of trash but once in a while there is something worth keeping. Thanks for the read friend
In this world there are many people who are not willing to read words properly to see what they mean so they just dismiss them as trash but there are others who appreciate all words written as I do yours soren.
Andy
Thanks Andy your support is deeply valued. I think that we all recognize that not all of our work is as good as some. I do write trash at times but that is not the point the point is that what is trash to one may be treasure to another. That's why people have yard or garage sales.
