along the way
one shall inevitably encounter
occasional and inevitable diversions ..
sometimes, it makes more sense and is safer to
ignore them and to deviate on one’s own terms and time ..

It's a temptation to stray from KP - stray from old trouts, that is! lol. I never see her 99% of the time in person anyway, only at botox clinics, in the papers, magazines, etc. Dunno why I'm complaining!
why do you frequent such clinics .. I imagine if you had Botox you would look like a fur ball

Tis safer to stray when the return route is well marked. Good judgement, and on occasion, a good pair of running shoes are essential. Love the visual of these lines, and love the poem!
