Famine

Neville

Famine

I imagine her

heady,

with the scent

of Bulgarian

roses

and bergamot ..

But I am

starving and

full bellies

seldom feel

slack ..

Still there are

no calories

in memories,

my darling ..

So none of us

shall ever get fat ..
