I don't like good people...
Those good people who pretend to be perfect but in reality no one is perfect,
Those good people who call themselves worshipers but in reality no one is worshiping wholeheartedly,
Those good people who want people's admiration but in reality no one wants to admire others,
Those good people who call themselves prayer warriors but in reality no one likes to pray silently or secretly,
Those good people who say they fast ones a week but in reality no one gives their bread to hungry,
Those good people who live a lavish life but in reality no one cares about the homeless,
Those good people whose good words don't match with their deeds,
Yes, I don't like these kinds of good people because they are more harmful than bad people.

Great writing
I completely agree with the sentiment
Those who quietly go about their business are the "good people "
Their actions being enough reward
Very nicely done
Your kind words about my poem mean a lot to me.
So true Dayena, the do called good people promote themselves but the real good people are always there for others and do not say so.
Andy
Yes indeed their actions speak louder than their words.. thank you for your comment.
Good write D.
Yes, Jesus accepting the 'common people, but scolding the 'religious' leaders of His day.

Truth. I was scolded for rejecting to pray out loud or saying "the blessing".. When I pray it's only in secret and not often enough. Most times I just sit in silence.
I wrote one called We're Religious. Touches on these said people. It's why I'll always be considered as my poem Villain too.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experience releted with my poetic work.
