Each day it gets stronger,
Our love for each other increases
And we do not understand,
Do not understand it at our age.
But here we are
Two old codgers in love,
In a love that strengthens
And all we can say,
Can say to each other
Is “I love you”,
And that just not seem to be enough.
We just do not understand
But it is so wonderful
And will go on to eternity.

Good write Codger.
Thank you Orchi.
You can call me Codger too! How codgerly old are us two now?! Are we 10 million years old yet?
Lovely sentiment, really well written.
Most kind Tom, thank you.

To understand love is a contradiction in terms. Understanding requires logic and love is emotion, it is like trying to mix oil and water. Just experience it and many more years of such love to you Andy
So true soren, we just do not understand how powerful our love is for each other, thank you.

There is nothing to understand because it's love ❤️❤️

I'd say that love is timeless, ageless, and that you and Mary are proof of the very essence of it. Beautiful!
So very true Bella, thank you.
