I'm an old man, the poor, a small child
an addict, governor, a prisoner chained
the unemployed, a refugee exiled
a soldier, coward, the deranged
I am the roads, the buildings, cars and trains
the birds, rocks, dirt, sky, and trees
moon, planets, the stars domains
I am the hills, the valley's the rivers and seas
I am the rain, scorching sun and lightning
a hurricane, earthquakes, floods, devastation
hunger, thirst, ignorance and enlightening
a beam of light, an atom, and germination
I am hatred, revenge, peace and love
a scar, a cut, a suture
the devils below and angels above
ghosts of the past, pain of the present, and hope of the future
