Two Sisters

Neville

Two Sisters

Dear lord,

our inadvertent

stumbling

upon those two

novice

sisters, making

love like

that, in the long

grass

at Lourdes ..

All those

many years ago,

was like

something else

wasn’t it ..

And even today,

when

I go back there ..

In my

head at least ..

I think

of them smiling

and sprawled ..

Of course,

I also wonder

what

has become

of them both ..

And where they

might be

today, or what

they are

doing and with

whom ..

After saying

their prayers that is ..

One often wonders about things that were seen in the past Neville.

we call them either memories or photographic images these days Andy .. the girls, as I recall were both very pretty but declined to remain still and have their image taken .. Long before mobile phones and camera's .. and anyway .. my black powder was not dry enough .. Neville
