I put on my right tights,
and sharp wit killer heels,
lippy application rites,
facts are not concealed,
coz’ I’m a quiz whore, baby!
Brassiere holds the data,
recall with retinol,
this pub’s my alma mater,
the weekly protocol,
coz’ I’m a quiz whore, baby!
Twisting golden strands,
that prize money bought,
revise; refill; my hair spray cans,
avoid the score of naught,
coz’ I’m a quiz whore, baby!
A lady of letters am I,
try to keep up with me,
on a panel, I reach the sky,
to answer, is to breathe,
coz’ I’m a quiz whore, baby!

- Comment from author about the poem: I thought I would give you all another little chuckle, (I hope!) I've written poems about my love of quizzing in the past, but not like this one. Either it be at the pub or at home watching a quiz show, or seldomly playing a quiz board game, I can pat myself on the back, for getting more questions right than wrong. Hence, I have developed a certain competitiveness which is voracious, especially in quizzes which have guaranteed prizes. Thus, I consider myself to be a "quiz whore", and when I look at myself in the mirror sometimes, my imaginary reflection reveals to me, a dame dressed up to the nines, ready to kill any quiz. Of course, the sense of community in doing such a lovely activity; is always a win. But in the case of this poem, give me a round of drinks, ask me the questions, and if I get them right, give me the money! Hahaha! I hope that you enjoy the poem, if you ever get the opportunity to quiz, go ahead and do it, and as always, please do stay safe everyone.

Thanks for the read Andy, I'm glad that you smiled at this poem, and I'm glad that you enjoyed your time walking in proverbial "quizzy heels!"
Though, of course, if you would like to so, it's your decision to do it again.
I hope that all is well.
