Kathleen Sings Again.

Once again it happened,

That voice came from the radio,

Goosebumps covered my body

As her voice reached my heart and soul.

Every time I hear Kathleen sing

I am taken to heaven

To be with her as she sings.

Her voice surrounding me with love,

The love of her wonderful sound

Taken from this earth too quickly.

But her sound lingers on in the ether

And I listen and get lost,

Get lost within the sound

That Kathleen Ferrier has left for me.

      You're glad it's her singing and not me. You prefer her singing a million times to mine. lol. I'm gonna croon with Andy Williams, Bing Crosby, etc, though Crosby was a monster in his private life.

                  I often do AP, I can visualise my Dad and I sitting listening to all those glorious sounds once more as we did before he passed nearly 30 years ago.
