Praise Proclaimings

Tune: University

('The church of God a kingdom is')

Parts of Psalms 46 to 48

*********

God is our refuge and strength, He

A very sure help be

He present in our troubled times

Through life's verse and rhymes

Be still and know He is God, see

He will exalted be

Among the peoples of the earth

Praise Him, give Him His worth

O clap your hands, raise joyful shout

You peoples, praise ring out

Let the vice of triumph be heard

It be His living word

For He o'er all the earth is King

Your worship to Him bring

Sing praises with understanding

Be grateful for each thing

Great is the Lord, His residence

His people, they do sense

It be mount Zion, His temple

Give thanks now, one and all

His enemies did flee away

They saw Zion that day

They troubled at His greatness, might

Defeated in His sight

As is your name, Lord, so your praise [is]

We to you anthems raise

You good and righteous, us you bless

Your mercy we confess

Orchi I have always thought if there were a God his/her words would have been in perfect meter and rhyme, after all nature speaks thus in its very vibrations. Good one Orchi

I proclaim this to be a fine hymn poem .. perhaps ..
there are those who know more about these things than me ..

Despite the fact I have never cared for religion, I do quite like the words you write and the way you play with verses. Keep making these beautiful pieces.

Thanks K. 'Tis why I mark them 'spiritual' and not 'religion', which can be the cause of untold troubles.
