Above all,
God is an artist,
and His greatest
creation is us.
We are made in
His image, and so
we create.
Our creations pale
in comparison to
the sunset, the mountains,
and the oceans;
but we try.
And sometimes, we succeed.
And it is good,
and He is well pleased.

And you succeeded here Tom, well penned. 😉👍
Thank you so much.
I've writ it before; I'll writ it again:
Man made God in his own image and then flipped it - the rest is History.
Thanks for the read.

Thanks Andy.
Just amazing...
Thank you.
We are indeed pale in comparison to nature’s gems. What a gift they are Thomas. Great poetry.
Thank you for reading.
And sometimes, we succeed.
And it is good,
and He is well pleased.
Your words are very well rounded and succinct here. I can have fun pondering on this one. Full circle to why we are here and I’m sure you felt close with him by creating this piece, my poetic friend.
Thank you so much for the read and comment.
God is an artist and you're right our creations pale in comparison.
