Reassurance

GenXer Shamrocker ☘️

Reassuring your woman that she is all you need; is the smallest act of kindness to you; but to her it puts her mind at ease. Reassuring your man that he’s your one and only; may not mean much to you but to him; it helps him feel less lonely. Reassurance seems petty especially after decades going strong; but sometimes we forget this; we assume he or she knows after so long. Some women have been hurt a time or two before. She may be deeply in love with you; sometimes she feels neglected; so tell her you care; reassure. His heart may have been stomped on way before you; to let him know where you are and who you’re with; it’s the least you can do. Over time he’ll appreciate and grow to to trust you more; in any long standing relationship or marriage; it helps to reassure.

I'm divorced now, but while married, my wife and I had a good thing going. But after 3 years married we knew it was not to be. But your advice here is perfect for couples to stay strong in their marriage and relationship. Well written GenXer. 😉👍

Yes, I always reassure KP that botox will make her saggy in the end, but she don't listen to me! lol.
Your comment reminded me of 'Don't cast your pearls before swine'.
If I'm in a mood, I say: 'KP, you swine, spending all my money on botox!' Oohh, heehee.

She would collect the pearls up and sell them. lol.
Or - don't give what is holy to dogs, so I also say 'You dog, you, KP!' lol.
Jesus shared 5 loaves and 2 fish. Were they trouts, asks KP - old ones?! lol.
