The day's empire returns to dirt
shadows bowing from the sun
as it retires in its scarlet nightshirt
evening's cobwebs yet to be spun
Night's silver crescent smile
sky in sequin gown
parades the milky way aisle
wearing a starry crown
a blazing, falling tear
into distant oceans
heaven's steel gray mirror
reflecting firmament's emotions

Utterly beautiful I found myself thinking of those already in that distant sky above, I cannot choose a favourite line because as you always do, you create such beauty and make it come alive. So much to enjoy in this dear sorrenbarret, I just love it. 🌹
