Slumberbash

Teddy.15

And as I sleep

 I dream

those dreams

may not always be sweet

alas, lying on my soft cotton sheets

I’m in my very own slumberbash

where I live in an unknown world

in most of which

I do not record in memory.

Wot you mean is you made 'slumberbash' up! Google don't record it in memory either....Tomorrow I'm going to attempt to have your poetic licence revoked... so there!

Apart from that, M'lady, I can relate to the meaning embodied in the entirety and, as usual admire your choice of visuals.

evoke my licence? lol 🤣 thank you dear Dave I love the dream scene reflection. 🌹

A new word for me Teddy. Such fun to invent your own vocabulary. As for remembering dreams, I rarely do these days. I am an insomniac, so your posted image is very appealing to me. Have a lovely day poet.

Hello my dear Cassie58 always so lovely to see another lady poet on my post, I seem to make my own language sometimes it's probably because I'm living in linguo which would mean between two languages that's another new word I just made up 😂 i love reflecting on dreams and the semi conscious life we all lead apart from like you say when we don't really sleep at all. I'm having nights like that too. Thank you. 🌹

Beautiful work. I like your poetic license. I once made up the word, Sorceriffic to describe a woman's ass. lol (I felt I was under a spell.)

          • Teddy.15

LOL 🤣 well I'm a woman and yes that's funny be careful where you use Sorceriffic you may find your head under a handbag or two lol thank you dear Thomas for this lovely bit of crack lol

Lo, I didn't tell her about the word. I just used it in a poem. Maybe I will publish it here tomorrow.

              • Teddy.15

I was going to say there's definitely a poem or 2 💋 personally I never minded the wolf whistles too. 🌹

No need for clarification/rectification, is there? You know I admire your work, Teddy.

                  • Teddy.15

Dear Dave, I didn't know you admire my work, it is very kind of you to say so, makes me feel truly humbled that you would come by to say. Thank you 🌹

What a beautiful place, your slumberbash! The picture, the stuff dreams are made of. Beautiful dear Teddy. The perfect pick-me-up I needed today.
