a violin plays Vaughan Williams
its four steel core strings
strung to Welsh perfection
vibrations of high pitched notes
float in spiral movement
as the reed bow sweeps low
then moves slowly upwards
imitating a lark, the messenger
of a brand new morning
rising above roof tops, above spires
higher on spanned feathered wings
avian beauty scaling the heights
ascending in circular flight
in blue sky above verdant green fields
of English countryside
close your weary eyes
transcend closer to the sleeping stars
soaring in new found freedom
far above the problematic earth
far from the troubles of the day
rebirth, there fly I

'There flied I too, as I was The Birdman, but crashed going over a cliff. lol.
Better you flied rather than you fried Orchi. Getting too near the sun, wouldn’t do you any good. Better stay grounded:) Many thanks for stopping by btw if you like classical, this piece is tops.
And the ride of a lifetime ❤️ I was flying up there too. A magical mesmerising poem.
Thank you kindly Teddy. This poem was inspired by the classical music of the same. If I need to chill out, this piece does it for me every time. How I would love to be that lark. So pleased you enjoyed my poem. Have a lovely day. 🌹

You give us all wings with this musically transcendent poem. The imagery exquisite, and the final stanza wraps this gift up with a beautiful bow. Loved it!

Good to be in the same corner and even better that we fell in love with poetry. Thank you Neville for being here. 💜

And what an uplifting symbolism you brought my morning! Both the bow and the lark pointed me to a beautiful English countryside. Best.
The classical music which inspired this piece is truly magnificent. I wrote this poem while listening and watching the video of the English countryside. Pleased you found it uplifting and I thank you so much for your visit and review. Have a good weekend.
