Right to choose

sorenbarrett

Government chosen

cancerous companion elected

your enslavement frozen

projected illusion protected

Broken abused

shattered bones

strength used

hope owned now groans

Power given

chained fear

parasite driven

a reflecting mirror

They are mad to trust that guy with the dodgy barnet (hair-style). Things will be all trumped up!

    • sorenbarrett

Doesn't matter, mad to trust anyone. Thanks for the read Orchi.

I don't trust a single politician in any country I'm afraid. They truly have their very own interests at heart, and I watch international news on a daily basis as well as my own. World gone mad and nothing is to be trusted. sorrenbarret what a conversation I'd love to be able to have it with you in person. My friends just think I'm nuts 🌹

        • sorenbarrett

Nuts are those that believe, they believed Hitler when he told them what they wanted to hear. We all like to hear what we believe and want. Plato in the Republic said that politicians should be selected from birth based on honesty and integrity and that they should be taken care of by the state and not allowed to ever have money. An interesting idea. Thanks so much for the read and comment Teddy.

I could choose to leave KP, but she tied this ball and chain to my leg and threw away the key! lol.

Lost all faith in politicians regretfully. They can no longer be trusted and break manifesto pledges over and over again. It seems it isn’t confined to the UK, but wide spread. Too many are self serving, but once in a while an honest one pops up. They rarely last. I can relate and many others will too. A fine write.

I was soured some time ago and have found none to resurrect any faith. Thanks so much for the read and comment, it is most appreciated.

Where can you find an honest politician? Under the bus the dishonest politicians threw him under. Great write soren. πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

How do you know when a politician is lying? Their lips move!
