Purple fire

sorenbarrett

Bougainville purple fire

blazing beauty with thorn

quenching thirsty eye's desire

tearing flesh of thoughts forlorn

Pool of petals spread on ground

flower's lacrimation shed

rippled rings of colored sound

dancing ball gowns spread

Lips of morning, grass does moisten

chewing a sweet cocklebur

white clouds of oleander, leaf of poison

beauty glistens in patterns of gossamer

Glitter in the night sky

a crescent smile

a glimmering twinkle in your eye

easing time's last downhill mile

It's OK for some having cockleburs, and others of us not knowing what they are! lol. *gets out dictionary*
