Algebra of Love

Teddy.15

Often

I sit and reflect

just why it is

that two beautiful people

who give everything

and more to love...

rarely, ever find each other?

A thought profound set in a poem. Yes is it because opposites attract? Is it because in this world of billions the odds of finding one match is so small? Poignant and well stated.

    • Teddy.15

Ah, I got you thinking too, and what about when they do meet and one gets ripped away by death. damn love is a great discussion on so many levels. Thank you my dear sorrenbarret always appreciate your presence. 🌹

'Tis because, as a grumpy old bugger, I believe that most poets don't be within a bum's scratch of working out wot 'love' really is..... I kno I shouldn't a writ this... I just kno I shouldn't... I kno (fades quickly towards the horizon never to be heard...of...again...)

        • Teddy.15

lol fabulous Dave, exactly my point. Thank you. Grumpy away. 💜 Sending you a Florentine heart just to give you more of the grumps. 😆

          • Doggerel Dave

Confirming grumps: most of them Florentine hearts are gold according to Prof. Google.... Gold is forever.... oh nah - that's diamonds for ladies; I'll stick with gold if you don't mind...except all those curves on the heart are quite difficult to store so something square and large will do nicely thanks....

            • Teddy.15

It's the golden iris , what we call violet is the regional colour also for the football team fiorentina. So of course I invented the violet heart. Another bit of useless info for you lol
A very happy wednesday dear Dave.

              • Doggerel Dave

Ok Teddy, I shall stay in poverty but try to enjoy Wednesday...oops it's nearly over and I'm ready for bed. You enjoy on my behalf.....

One on one = babies .. dunno why I wrote that .. maybe it was just a math thing .. or was it that you asked the billion dollar question .. 🌹

                        • Teddy.15

Sometimes, they find one another and it lasts forever. They would tell you how very fortunate they were. Romeo and Juliet lasted a lifetime.
Loved your little mind- bending poem - Phil A.

I know that is why I have written (rarely) and I'm so forever happy you too did find eachother. 🌹 Thank you dear Andy.
