What do you see?

sorenbarrett

Do you notice all?
Do you see the unseen?
Is your vision small?
Blinded by a screen?

Can you smell those soon dead?
Can you taste argyle?
hear what isn't said?
see love in a smile?

After birth distorted,
stab wound or sting of bee,
vision contorted,
we see what we hope to see

I cannot beat an examination of perception, Soren - a topic I'm always fascinated by. Definitely still no answers - but good to see the questions out there in great poetic form.

Thank you Dave for the read and comment. No I'm never sure what is real and what is not.

You tackle the illusion of life so poignantly my friend, it seems everything is in the eye of the beholder especially these days. Brilliant!

Thank you so much Bella for the read and most gracious words they are deeply appreciated. So nice to hear from you.

How wonderful you see what you choose to see, in Italy we say hai proscuitto sugli occhi when it comes to love as it is blind, you have opened yet another wonderful discussion and you have once again opened my mind wide open. Thank you for your cleverness Dr sorrenbarret 🌹

Thanks Orchi I used to fish for trout, rainbow, brook, cut throat, lake trout. Still like eating them for breakfast with some hash browns and toast. Thanks for the read Orchi
