A wonderful haiku
Hey sorrenbarret can I be very curious and ask where in the world you reside?
Cicadas- not my cup of tea but as long as they do not come to Tuscany I'll be ok. lol 🤣
I live in Florida part of the time and in southern Brazil the rest of the time
Thank you so much Teddy for the review and kind comment.
It's getting through Winter here in the UK, with Spring-like scenes appearing.
Thanks Orchi. I like spring, summer and fall, not so keen on winter. Maybe that's because that is the time of my life now.
Spring and Summer I come out of Winter hibernation. Well penned soren. I've not yet seen those pesky little critters and hope I don't. 🫤
Thanks so much. I don't mind them and in fact like hearing them in that it means warm weather is here.
Your poem is like a snapshot of summer's essence! I can practically hear the cicadas buzzing and smell the sweet aroma of orange blossoms. 🌞🌿
Thanks so much for the read and kind comment
I read these three lovely lines, and I can hear it, I can smell it, and now I'm pining for it. Thank you dear poet, it's perfect!
Thanks Bella I appreciate your words and wish you a coming summer of joy and peace.
