Art surrounds you in all its guises,
The paintings hanging on the wall
That can draw you into the artist’s mind.
The sculpture standing on the ground
Beauty carved from a block of stone.
The music flowing through your body
Glory from the mind of a composer.
Words in poetry on the page
Emotional feelings of the writer.
So many art forms,
So much to admire,
So much to love.
We are all different,
We like different things.
You like what you like,
If others say you’re wrong
Just tell them to go to hell.
As art, any art is yours to like,
No matter what others think.
All art is special,
To all in different ways.
