Tune: St Peter
('How sweet the name of Jesus sounds')
Matthew 8 v.14-17
*************
Jesus to Peter's house did come
Entered into his home
Saw his wife's mother, fever-bound
Laying in bed there found
He touched her hand, rebuked fever
The illness did sever
And she arose and did them serve
From service did not swerve
When evening was come, then they brought
Many to Him, they sought
Him for those who were afflicted
By devils, they not hid
And too other sick folk, and He
Did heal them all, so be
And so Isaiah's prophecy
Came to pass, so we see
The prophecy, He Himself took
Our infirmities, look
And bare our sicknesses, that we
Through Him might healed, whole be

Your poem is like reading holy Bible !
Thanks M.
A beautiful, uplifting story of healing. Thank you Orchi!
Thanks B. KP don't need healing - it's just her botox makes her disfigured - like a trout! lol.
With all that botox she may be perfectly preserved forever. Have you ever considered having her stuffed and mounted? lol
Ooh yes, it will save me some money when I visit the taxidermist. lol.
Fantastic.
Thanks T.
Good one Orchi.
