Tune: Harewood
('Christ is the corner-stone')
Psalm 19 v.7-11
*****
The Lord's law is perfect
In it there no defect
And it converts the soul
Does restore and make whole
Testimony of the Lord be
Sure, making wise the simple, see
The Lord's statutes are right
Rejoice the heart, make bright
The Lord's command is pure
Enlightens eyes e'ermore
Fear of the Lord is clean, endures
For ever, saves from sin's allures
The Lord's judgments are true
And they be righteous too
More to be desired than
The fine gold which man can
Find, and sweeter than honey be
To keep them brings prosperity

Thanks 2.
Many tell me I should be afraid and fear but I've got too much other stuff to worry about. Good write Orchi.
Thanks SB. The 'fear' here means awe, reverence, respect, etc, I think.
Good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold.
It is I, the blackberry monster, here to tell you that I very much like the last two lines, as they stood out to me, in the midst of my grazing.
Thanks N. You the honey monster too?!
Oh you know it my man
