The political climate during this election year is more than I can bear, so to get through it, I must make light. Thank you Orchi, just had to get this one off my chest, and out of my mind, speaking of which I being driven out of. Hope I make it to November when thankfully it comes to an end, one way or another.
We have some elections in May. Who are these people - our local politicians? We could say 'Never seen ya for such a long time'. Do they only come out of the woodwork at elections time?

I saw an excellent pastiche on italian tv about a US president !
It is such a fun style to play with. While driving this morning the song came into my head and I started adding new words. Funny how the brain works in spite of you. Thank you for reading, and glad you could see something excellent. Take care!
When it comes to politics you could never offend me Bella since I see the whole issue as a comedy and joke. In the US the joke is of cosmic proportions a madman against a demented old man on his last leg. A great write Bella and very timely as well. I guess all we can do is laugh.
Thank you my good friend! Our late night talk show comedians are having a field day with all of this. It helps take a little of the sting out of the reality. It is absolutely frightening to see so many people, many of whom have never voted before and couldn't pass a civics test if they tried, rallying around someone who lies and cheats to achieve his selfish goals. They seem to look at all of this as a reality show, and he's the star, the more outrageous the better. I opt for early voting this year, I don't want to be anywhere near a polling place on election day with these folks on the prowl because he encourages violence. Sorry for the rant, he brings out the worst in people. Take care my friend and please keep your fingers crossed for all of us over here.
It's the same all over Bella. I'm in Brazil at the moment and it seems a mirror image of the US in its politics. Wishing you the best.

Amen, my friend! I sometimes fantasize about what would happen if all the media sources just stopped covering him. He's like the plant Audry 2 in Little Shop of Horrors, "Feed Me" and they obey, 24/7. I don't know if this evil Geni can be put back in the bottle, but we'll see come Nov. Take care!
