Tune: Corpus Christi
('Jesus, in thy dear sacrament')
John Chapter 6 parts
*******
O bread of heaven, come us feed
You daily do we need
Physically and spiritually
So we satisfied be
We find in you that you supply
Our food and drink, you nigh
Your promise that who comes to you
Shall ne'er hunger, 'tis true
And who believes on you shall ne'er
Thirst, shall refreshment share
Enough for all, no scarcity
Ample resources be
So may we feed and drink from you
You shall our lives renew
Jesus, the bread of life you be
Now and eternally

Good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold.
Nicely penned Orchi. Have a happy Sunday.
Thanks Cassie.
We must be sustained, food and drink of the spiritual kind is also necessary. Good write Orchi!
Thanks B. You got that shopping in? That physical food?! heehee.
I did, stocked up on all the goodies. lol
You got chocolate again? Did ya give it up for Lent?! I gave up plain chocolate decades ago. Yuk!
Now chocolate, the vice that keeps on giving. Dark chocolate is of course acceptable during Lent as it has healthy properties. Sounds convincing, yes?
Yes, but not very dark chocolate for me. Black Magic chocs - yuk! Apart from any 'magic' connotations.
