As in pure light I basked
An angel came to me
and of him I asked
Why so much pain do I see?
I saw a man with the pox suffering
Cure him I said and the angel replied
three wishes I grant your world buffering
cured, but without acquired immunity he died
In the street a freezing beggar so poor
I did implore give him all he needs
so he was given much more
Which he spent on wicked deeds
A discarded baby on a heap of dying
My arms reached out but my eyes identified
there on a pile of broken humanity lying
infant Hitler and his future genocide
You can't see how, but life is a test
The angel said flying away
all things happen for the best
Watch out for what you pray

Truly beautiful and powerful, I believe that life is a lesson, we all need to find comfort and we all need to find each single positive thing we possibly can, they pain of yesterday is right in front of all of us right now dear sorrenbarret, although your words are so raw and truthful I find comfort knowing your angel has come to lay his wisdom. Kudos. My husband he is a physicist and he always argues that my angel shouldn't be a she because they don't have gender, I always tell him, she can be a she if I want. ❤️
Thank you so much Teddy for your read and interpretation of this piece. Random thoughts seeing what we want is not always what is best for us or others and what appears tragedy may be in harmony with nature and only through acceptance of this can we see injustice as justice. Your words are so appreciated.
Good write SB.
Thanks Orchi images more up your line. I appreciate the read and comment.
