Olive Oil

orchidee

Tune: Southwell

('Lord Jesus, think on me')

Psalm 52 v.8-9

*********

Lord, by your grace I be

Like a green olive tree

In your house, O God, your temple

Where you do welcome all

I trust in your mercy

Everlasting it be

For eve and for ever shall

It remain, this I tell

I will praise you for e'er

You great works do you share

With us, and I will call upon

Your good name, holy one

May oil of the olive

Help others, so they live

The oil of your Spirit to flow

So others too you know
