Put on therefore, as God's chosen

Ones, children, women, men

Holy and beloved, tenderly

Mercies and kindness be

 

Humbleness of mind and meekness

Longsuffering, do bless

Forbearing one another, too

Forgiving each one true

 

If having quarrel, argument

Not bitter, not resent[ful]

But as Christ forgave you, so do

You also forgive too

 

Above all put on love, which be

Bond of perfectness, we

Living as one, God's family

Others Christ in us see

 

And let the peace of God rule in

Your hearts, reside within

Tot his peace you are called in one

Body, thanks to His Son

 

Let the word of Christ richly dwell

In you, in wisdom well

Teach, admonish one another

Each sister and brother

 

With psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs

Graceful song do prolog

Sing to the Lordi n your hearts here

worship in lowly fear

 

Whate'er you do in word or deed

Do all, so be agreed

It be in the Lord Jesu's name
