At Seventeen or Thereabouts
The second time, or thereabouts
we met ..
I was mightily impressed with
the way
that she looked, the way that she
moved
and by her amazing dexterity ..
Since she
could very easily roll a decent five
skin joint,
with just one hand, on the outside
dust jacket
of my Dark side of the Moon LP ..
And all while
strumming and humming in tune
to Janis Ian’s
little masterpiece, At Seventeen ..

You need to be fumigated sir ..
Love this. You really paint the picture. And Dark Side is one of the greatest albums of all time.
Well thank you both kindly and true my good man .. and yes, isn't it just .. cheers again .. Neville
Can't suppress the cough - three skins yes...five? Gotta share with too many folks to maintain the kind of exclusivity I'd like. And we were getting so close earlier too........
I swear I still don't know how she did it .. three's a breeze but like you say .. five is something else
Ahh, seventeen. I remember it so well that I did it five times.
Blimey .. you wear those candles well sir Jez ..
Whatโs not to like here. The choice of music is timeless and certainly my cup of tea. Got the vinyl and Iโm gonna play it today. Seventeen, those were the days my friend. I briefly returned there and enjoyed the visit.
Good to hear Cassie, many many thanks my friend .. just one quick thing .. were your flag emoji's not originally of the cross of st' George? I thought they were when I popped in earlier .. and as far as I am concerned, still should be ..it being his special day & our national flag of which I am immensely proud .. Neville
Of course, flying the flag for St Georgeโs day. Our patron saint. So proud to be English:) Hereโs a few more

Glad to be of service Thomas thank you sir ..
My memories of London when I was 17 are some of myost wonderful. Great memories. ๐น
Thatโs where I did a lot of my courting Teddy, did you ever wear a dress of blue and silver with flowers in your hair and dance in the street after you gave out your telephone number, because I lost it on my way home ๐น
Awe sweet, no I never wore flowers in my hair butt we may have danced at the swan in Stockwell. ๐น Or the hypodrome leaster square, in every pub in Twickenham and Richmond. โค๏ธ
At seventeen eh? That was a few years ago now but they were wonderful times.
