Wild Garlic
I love
wild garlic time
of year ..
I love the taste
and smell of it ..
I love
The sound
of the stream
that feeds
and nurtures it ..
I love
wild garlic
as a garnish,
in salads
and in stews ..
Or whisked into
a green
and creamy two
goose egg omelette ..

Nothing quite like freedom of choice my friend. đđ
its a bit like our so called freedom to roam act .. it sounds good and would be good, but just try putting it into practice .. âšī¸đ
Gives me a sort of hot flush - maybe swoon - if I have too much of it! KP adds 10 cloves of it to my every evening meal when she cooks. lol.
I think maybe you are confusing the effects of wild garlic with rumpy pumpy
KP's a vampire now - no reflection in the mirror. It's better for us both - she's looked in 7,436 mirrors and they all broke, as they couldn't bear the sight of her! lol.
Gets the good old digestive juices flowing nicely Neville.
Don't ya just love a goose egg Dave .. you just cant beat em you know .. thank you kindly .. Neville
Foraging is good.
it is certainly cheaper & healthier than forking out for hyped up supermarket prices .. cheers
Nature gives us such simple pleasures, growing in our own backyards. Add your wild garlic to some dandelion greens and voila! There's also nothing like catching the smell of wild garlic as you mow the lawn. That omlette sounds delicious, as is this poem is my friend.
It is so good to have you back Bella (actually that was an understatement) .. (note to self slow down Nev, don't be in such a bloomin rush) .. deep breath, short pause .... and again .. It is great to have you back Bella not only that, but an honour you should visit .. Neville
It is my privilege and pleasure to visit. Life has become so busy of late that when the end of the day comes, I wonder where it went. I have a lot of catching up to do my friend, and looking forward to it. Take good care!
Great use of the senses. I wouldn't be without garlic. Tremendous work.
