Hearing more than the ear can hear
note's puzzle pieces, fall and climb
pitches, chords, rhythms, harmonies so clear
Scales align, painting in musical pictures sublime
Playing audience symphonies, as an instrument
brushing blues into jaz, pop colors into originality
a portrait of human emotion in semitone increment
virtuoso, choral master, composer of song's humanity
Melodies you know in perfect harmony and rhythm flow
dissonant torn notes, perfume, musical flowers anticipant
strokes of rainbow prism scales flow and grow
voices of listeners turn active participant
First memory, was mother's violin over head
sixteen instruments played, one reinvented
Pitch perfect, rifts of rainbows, blues into red
sprouting seeds of genius fermented

I never knew there was so much in music. Well, I know now! lol.
Now Orchi you the music man, you're pulling my leg. Thanks for the read and comment Orchi.
The magic and mystery of music wrapped up in this beautiful poem. It has unimaginable powers, it opens wide the portals of emotion and caresses the senses. What a wonderful start to my Sunday. Thank you dear friend! P.S. I had never heard of the Ranamujen summation, so I googled and was fascinated by it. I also found a line saying that it originates from a human desire for beauty, I like that a lot.
Thank you so much Bella for the thoughtful and comprehensive review it is so appreciated.
Music is so important in our lives soren.

Thank you Andy for the review and comment. So true it is important.
Oh yes I adore the violin and I always say jazz is a mess to those who cannot hear it yet an orchestra on the ear to others, music really is so many things. 🌹 Gorgeous and to see your own mother in o e of your poems is truly a prevaliage 🌹
Thank you Teddy I am no musician although I have taken piano and violin and so I am most impressed with the talent of others. Jacob Collier I discovered just a few months ago and he is brilliant.
