Hush Now Little Wren
Shhh the owls are sleeping
darling ..
It’s near daylight and time
for all
Gods good little creatures
to creep,
fly, hop, run, swim or crawl
back to
their home, nest or burrow ..
While good
little boys and girls need to
eat their
breakfasts and make their
way to school ..

I was distracted by that comment of the day being short!
So gentle, so kind - such an excellent way to hint that it is time to depart (we've had our fun now bugger off until tomorrow.....)🤣
................. Well, well, well, the old dog reads him like a proverbial book .. cheers Dave .. Neville 🙂
Everyone round here seems to agree that a poem's meaning is in the eye of the beholder. Trying desperately to conform..........
Beautiful poem for a little girl who sounds like she needs more sleep. Visual and cute, it is Neville.
She\'s a little rascal who doesn\'t sleep hardly at all and refuses to be weaned, thanks Cassie
