What Makes Us Broken
We are only broken my love when
they look at us hard ..
The rest of the time, we are whole ..
But then nevertheless,
it still pays to be careful, quiet and
above all composed
and free from all forms of restraint
don’t you think ..
Remember my love, we are broken
only when they all
look at us hard, so pray listen harder ..
Since the following sigh
and the gasp, are for your ears only ..

A poem here to not allow others to interfere in relationships. Some people just like to pick holes and spread negativity. This is a reminder to stay strong and positive and to concentrate on self. What is whole should stay whole regardless. The cracks come and the breaks only if you take notice of others and allow their negativity to wear you down. Seems like sage advice to me and is written tenderly. A lovely poem. There are other ways of looking at this poem too. Happy Saturday Neville.
