Look beyond the lark,

toward

those dark foreboding

angry skies ..

There, upon the brow

where crazy,

ancient undulations

hide from view

a flimsy silvered scarf ..

More amorphous

than mercury ever was ..

Yet know this,

her majesty resides

there still,

reclined across the nape

and back of

our lord, Orion’s nebula ..
