Telling the gospel's true worth - Alleluia!
They there with Him did behold - Alleluia!
He ascended, it was told - Alleluia!
Cloud received Him out of sight - Alleluia!
Then two men in clothing white - Alleluia!
Asked them there, Why do you stand - Alleluia!
Gazing to heaven on land? - Alleluia!
The same Jesus, ascending - Alleluia!
Shall be the one descending - Alleluia!
In like manner shall return - Alleluia!
And all shall Him then discern - Alleluia!
Though defying gravity - Alleluia!
Yet He resurrected be - Alleluia!
Returns to His Father's throne - Alleluia!
Until second coming shown - Alleluia!
