Light so bright
piercing through the leaves
on the rows of peacefully sleeping olive tree’s
I couldn't help but tilt my head upwards
towards the starry sky
and there she was…
tonight
she seemed to have an enormous smile
I imagined for a moment
her giant eyelashes winking at me
alas, just her smile
and that for me, was as good as gold.

A very special girl, thank you dear A.P 🌹
Dear Teddy, a beautiful painting and your words are finely matched to its brushstrokes. Olive trees peacefully sleeping. How calming is that. Hope you have had a beautiful day.
Thank you so much dear Cassie, the sun has shon all day. 🌹
it never ceases to amaze me how complex even the simplest of things might seem .. and vice versa ..
take a rose for example 🌹
Thank you dearest Nev. 🌹
A wonderful picture and so well written with a bit of mysticism. So appropriate in that the moon has always been associated with female powers and goddesses. Loved it.
As always your wonderful words capture my heart. I always call the moon she, maybe because she is so radiant, thank you dear sorrenbarret 🌹
Beautiful. I love Van Gogh. I'm staring at one of his self-portraits now, above my desk. Great imagery.
Well I hope it's an original 🤣 thank you dear Thomas. 🌹
May that light filled smile be always with you Teddy.
Andy
Your Vincent inspired poetry is painterly of itself, Teddy - and I don't know how to express this better, 🌕
